What is an apostille, and when do I need one?

We assist with the apostille process, but government fees and processing times apply.

Legal & Compliance

Important information about notarial acts

Can you provide legal advice or help me fill out documents?

No. As a notary public, I am not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice or help you fill out legal documents. This would constitute the unauthorized practice of law.

My role is limited to:

  • Verifying your identity
  • Witnessing your signature
  • Ensuring you're signing willingly and knowingly
  • Completing the notarial certificate

If you need legal advice, please consult with a licensed attorney.

How long are notarized documents valid?

The notarization itself doesn't expire. However, the entity requiring the notarized document (such as a bank, government agency, or court) may have their own requirements about how recent the notarization must be.

For example, some institutions may only accept documents notarized within the last 30-90 days. Always check with the requesting party about their specific requirements.
